Raphanus, Radish 'Cherry Belle' Organic Heirloom
- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun
Description
Cherry Belle is an early season radish known for its round and crunchy roots. Radishes take very little room to grow and can be planted to mature during a cold period. A great starter plant for kids. It won an All America Selections award in 1949.
Plant outdoors every few weeks starting in early spring, or fall/winter in mild climates. Time your plantings to mature while the weather is cool. For best quality, radishes need to mature quickly with plenty of water. Radishes mature rapidly. Harvest tender roots frequently, as soon as round shoulders begin to break through the soil.
