Pisum, Snow Peas (Bush) 'Oregon Sugar Pod II' Heirloom Value Pack
- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun
Description
Popular for its mild, sweet flavor, multiple disease resistance and heavy yields of large stringless pods. Vines are short, 30″, and do not need staking. Delicious raw, steamed, stir-fried or frozen for later use.
Peas like cool weather and regular moisture. Plant in rich, well-drained soil in early spring about a month prior to last frost date, or late summer for fall crops. Will tolerate light frost. Thinning usually not necessary. Pick pods regularly, while still young and sweet, for best production.
Pisum sativum
