Pisum, Pea Bush 'Frosty'

- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun, Part-Sun
Description
Unlike other shelling peas, Frosty will sprout when the soil is only 50°F. Sturdy bush plants produce 4″ double pods, each containing seven to eight peas. A good choice for cooler climates. Freezes well. Resistant to fusarium wilt and yellow bean mosaic virus.
Peas like cool weather and regular moisture. Plant in early to late spring, or late summer for fall crops, in average soil and full sun. Will tolerate light frost. Pick pods regularly, as soon as they fill out.
Pisum sativum
