Description
Perfect for the smaller perennial border or for windy areas. The same spectacular show of glorious flower spikes as other delphinium, but with easier care and no staking required.
Select a location with full sun and rich fertile soil. For best results, chill seed in the refrigerator for 2-3 weeks before planting. Sow directly in the garden as soon as soil can be worked, or up to 2 months before the first fall frost. For transplants, start seed indoors 6-8 weeks before planting. Cut back flower stalks after the first blooms fade to encourage another set. Keep plants evenly moist throughout the season.
