- Full-Sun, Part-Sun
- Bloom Time
- Summer
Description
Glorious Gleam’s semi-trailing habit is perfect for hanging baskets or patio containers. Very easy to grow. The flowers and young leaves can be eaten as a garnish or in salads. It won an All America Selections award in 1935.
Plant in full sun, or part shade in hot areas, in warm, well-drained soil after all danger of spring frost. Start indoors four to six weeks prior to last spring frost, but note that delicate roots do not transplant well. Water consistently and do not fertilize. Nick the seed coat and soak in warm water 24 hours prior to planting to encourage germination.
