Description
Extra sweet, medium orange flesh entirely free from fiber and strings. Deep green turban-shaped fruits hold their flavor well and will keep for months.
Sow outdoors in spring after last frost, or indoors three weeks before last frost. Grows best in warm, fertile, well-drained soil. Water consistently. Feed monthly with side dressing of compost or vegetable fertilizer. Harvest when shells are thumbnail hard. Cut from vine leaving a 1″ handle. Cure outside for 7-10 days but do not allow to freeze. Store in a cool, dry place.
