Description
Kohlrabi is an easy to grow, cool weather crop. It forms a distinctive light green bulb above ground. Peel its crunchy roots and enjoy them raw or cooked.
Grows best and tastes sweeter when grown in cool weather. Plant in early spring or late summer for a fall crop, or winter in mild climates. For continuous harvest, plant every two weeks. Sow in full sun about two weeks before last frost date. Keep evenly moist. Harvest bulbs when they reach about two to three inches for a sweet taste.
