Daucus, Carrot 'Little Finger'

- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun
Description
Little Finger carrots can be pulled at 3″ long. Deep orange, blunt roots have a very small core and smooth skin. These miniature carrots are often served in gourmet restaurants. Their sweet flavor develops early. Great fresh and perfect for pickling and canning.
Sow outdoors in very early spring. Prefers full sun and loose, evenly moist soil amended with plenty of organic matter. Before planting, loosen the soil to a depth of 5-6″ to help the roots grow straight. Be patient! Carrots can be slow to germinate. For best flavor harvest these carrots when the roots are “little finger” size.
