Description
This showy annual, also known as cornflower, produces a multitude of bright blue double flowers with contrasting grey-green foliage. Very hardy and reseeds freely.
Sow seeds in a sunny location with average soil in spring after all danger of frost. May be started indoors three to four weeks before last frost date. Water consistently and keep well weeded. Bachelor’s button rarely needs fertilizer to produce abundant blossoms. Cut spent flowers regularly to extend their blooming season.
