Holiday Poinsettias

Although each season has a look and feel all its own, the holiday season at Gertens takes on a special meaning. As one of the largest growers of Poinsettias in the Twin Cities, Gertens offers a wide range of colors and styles, from the traditional red, white, and pink of natural poinsettias, to our wide variety of painted colors.

In addition to the traditional look of Poinsettias, we also offer Cyclamen in a variety of colors and beautiful Holiday Combination Baskets.

NEW for 2011!

We are adding a little shimmer to the packaging of your holiday plants.  The Poinsettias, Cyclamen, and Combination Baskets will all have organza in seasonal colors in addition to our decorative pot cover. 

2011 Holiday Fundraiser offerings

• Little Star Poinsettia - These dainty poinsettias are the perfect size for place settings at your holiday table or to decorate your desk! Grown in a 2" pot and dressed in a seasonal pot.

• Gerten grown Poinsettias are available in many natural colors, grown in 6.5” and 8.5” pots.
• Painted Poinsettias: our natural poinsettia air brush painted with various colors for a whole new look.
• Cyclamen: available in a 6.5” pot. Blooming beauty that lasts into spring.
• Signature Item
  Combination Baskets: filled with beautiful seasonal blooming plants; available in two sizes, 13" and 17" (colors and basket styles may vary).

How to participate

• You must have a Fundraiser Account with Gertens. Call 651.239.1321 to get started.
• Notify Gertens of intent to participate by scheduling your delivery/will call date. Call promptly as our calendar fills quickly. To guarantee best selection, please notify us of your participation by Oct 3rd. 

2011 Dates to remember

• October 3: To guarantee best selection, notify us of your participation on or before this date.
• October 24: Final order should be submitted on your Fundraiser Order Form.
• November 21 – December 23: Delivery/will call dates.

• Sales Aid Packets available upon request. Choose Option A to offer our entire Poinsettia selection or Option B for a shorter list featuring only our most popular items. Call 651-239-1321 or email fundraisers@gertens.com to request printed copies.  Allow 1 week turn around for printing.
• Option C - Select the items you want to offer from our Holiday Poinsettias list and create your own sales aid.  We have the form started for you (file is in Excel). Just save a copy on your computer and delete the items you do not want to include in your sale. 
• Picture Page - Pictures from this page can be used to create your own sales aid.
