Gertens Plant Warranty

To honor Gertens Guaranteed To Grow Policy, we require the "proof of purchase"*. Proof of purchase includes a register receipt* and the plant material. Gertens will provide a one time replacement of plant material for Retail purchases, according to the following parameters:

Trees: One year from date of purchase
Shrubs: One year from date of purchase - Remember that some shrubs are slower to break dormancy in the spring.
Vines: Hardy vines located on the nursery lot are warranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Roses: Hybrid Tea, Floribunda, Miniature, English, and Romantica are warranteed through the first frost of the current growing season when the plant was purchased. Not warranteed over winter (noted on receipt).
Shrub roses: One year warranty from date of purchase.
Perennials: One year warranty from date of purchase - Remember that some perennials are slower to break dormancy in the spring.

Annuals: Gertens will warranty all Annuals, Houseplants, Tropicals, Miniature roses, and Water plants under normal conditions. 

Plants damaged from animals, frost, snow, wind or other damaging weather conditions are not covered by the Gerten Return Policy and Plant Warranty.  Remember plants are perishable items, needing watering and care.  Both planted and unplanted plant material that are damaged from lack of proper care may not be covered by Gertens Return Policy and Plant Warranty.)

All clearance plants are final sale. Sorry, no adjustments.


Unplanted Plant Material Returns: Can be returned or exchanged within one week of purchase if unremoved from their original container. (Plants damaged from animals, frost, snow, wind or other damaging weather conditions are not covered by the Gerten Return Policy and Plant Warranty.  Remember plants are perishable items, needing watering and care.  Both planted and unplanted plant material that are damaged from lack of proper care may not be covered by Gertens Return Policy and Plant Warranty.) Gertens In-Store Return Policy

Thank you for shopping at Gertens. Please retain your receipt and your actual product to ensure a speedy return.

All clearance sales are final. Sorry, no adjustments.

Gertens allows a 30 day return or exchange with receipt on regularly priced hard good items.

There are no adjustments on sale prices.

For items returned that were paid for by check, there is a ten day waiting period, however an "in-store credit" or a "check sent in the mail" for the amount of the refund is available.

For some returns, Gertens reserves the right to issue a check for returned merchandise.

Gertens Gift Shop Return Policy

No returns or exchanges on Christopher Radko merchandise.

No returns or exchanges on any unopened or opened puzzles or games.

All of the collectible lines must have a receipt for a return or exchange. This includes Department 56 Villages, Snowbabies, Snowbunnies, Byer's Choice, Willow Tree, Thymes, Vera Bradley, Mrs. Myer’s, Caldrea, and all other collectibles available in the Gift Shop.

Gertens Grill Return Policy

  • Only Items in New, Unused and resalable condition will be eligible for a full refund. If purchased in a box, the factory seal may not be broken
  • Returns are accepted within 15 Days from the date of the order. Unless grill is purchased at a sale price, then the 15 Day return policy is voided, after the 15 day return window, you have an additional 15 days to return the grill with a re-stocking fee of 15% of the grills retail value. (total of 30 days)
  • All item/merchandise MUST be in Unused and Original Packaging and in Resalable Condition, the box must be factory sealed.
  • After 30 Days, Returns will NOT be accepted
  • If the grill is defective and you have already tried to work with the manufacture on a solution, we will be happy to help you follow up with the manufacture on a solution.
  • NOTE: Any product that has been fired/used CANNOT be returned.

Gertens Furniture Return Policy

Only items in new, unused, and resalable condition will be eligible for return.

New, unused furniture may be returned within 7 days of receipt. Gertens charges a re-stocking fee of 15% of the purchase price on returned furniture. After 7 days, returns will NOT be accepted.

If a furniture order is delivered damaged or incomplete, or is in need of replacement parts, contact Customer Support at info@gertens.com within 7 days of receipt for a resolution.

For warranty issues unrelated to initial delivery from Gertens, please contact the manufacturer.

Gertens Artificial Christmas Tree Return Policy

Only unopened Artificial Christmas Tree boxes may be returned within 7 days of receipt. There is a restock fee on returned boxes.

When placing your order by 3 pm Central Time weekdays, you can expect delivery no later than 7 business days. Orders received over the weekend will be processed on Monday morning. Some services are not available to Alaska and Hawaii and will require additional time in transit. International shipping (including Canada) is not available except by special arrangement.

Prices and availability of the products and services listed on the site are subject to change without notice. The listing, description of, or reference to, a product or service on gertens.com  does not imply that the product or service is presently available. In the event a product or service is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, error in pricing information received from a supplier or any other reason, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order placed for such product or service at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed and/or your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, we shall promptly issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

 

 

 

Gertens Online Shipping and Return Policy

Order Acceptance:

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.

Shipping Rules and Restrictions:

We ship to street addresses in all 50 states: the continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii. We're sorry, but we do not ship to PO Boxes, or international addresses, including Canada, APO/FPO addresses, US Protectorates (Guam, Puerto Rico, and US Virgin Islands).

We will process orders to ship Monday - Friday, excluding United States federal holidays.

Gertens.com is able to ship to one shipping address per order. If you'd like to ship to multiple addresses, please place a separate order for each unique address.

Order and Shipping Confirmation E-mails

When your order is received, we'll send you an e-mail confirming your order. Then, when your order is shipped, we'll send you a shipment confirmation.

Payment

You are responsible for any payments due for any products or services ordered through your account. If we do not receive payment from your credit issuer or its agents, you agree to pay all amounts due to us. You shall also be responsible for any costs of collection of overdue payment.

Sales Tax

We are required by law to charge applicable sales tax on products shipped within the State of Minnesota.

Online Returns

We guarantee your satisfaction with all Gertens merchandise. If you are within 30 days from the date your product was delivered, you may return non-plant products purchased online for a merchandise exchange, credit, or a full refund of the purchase price (minus shipping and handling charges). If you receive a damaged or defective item, we will promptly send you a replacement or issue you a full refund after you have returned the damaged or defective product. You will not be charged any additional shipping or handling fees for replacement of such damaged or defective shipments.

At Gertens, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. We believe strongly in our products and their quality.

We're sorry, but we cannot accept returns on:

  • Gift Cards
  • Opened boxes of Artificial Christmas Trees (No later than December 25th)
  • Clearance Items
  • For online Plant purchases, the in-store Plant Warranty at the top of this page applies.

Please include the following information with your return: indicate whether you want a return or replacement, the reason for the return, a description of the item you are returning, and its price.

If you're returning the product because we made an error, call us at 1-866-GERTENS and we'll schedule a delivery pickup and cover the cost of shipping.

Exchanges

You can exchange your returned item for another of equal value at Gertens store or by sending it back in the mail. If you'd like to exchange the item for one that costs more, we'll charge your credit card for the difference.
