Lathyrus, Sweet Pea 'Royal Family' Mixed Colors

- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun, Part-Sun
- Bloom Time
- Early Spring
Description
Royal Family produces an abundance of large, single-colored, fragrant blossoms on vigorous climbing vines. Perfect for covering fences and trellises with a bright mass of color.
Sweet peas perform best when sown directly in the garden. Nick the seed coat and soak in warm water 24 hours before planting to encourage germination. Plant outdoors in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Prefers rich, well-amended, well-drained soil and full sun, and will appreciate afternoon shade on hot days. Snip faded blossoms regularly and remove seed pods to encourage more blooms.
