Soraya is considered to be the first true orange sunflower, with sunny petals surrounding a deep chocolate center. Branching plants produce an abundance of long stemmed, long lasting flowers, ideal for bouquets. An All-America Selections winner in 2000.
Select a sunny location with average soil. Plant outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Keep soil evenly moist and well weeded while plants are young. Sunflowers are heat and drought tolerant once established. Keep flowers cut regularly to encourage new blossoms.
