- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun
Description
Cherry Belle is an extra-early season heirloom radish enjoyed for its round bright red roots and mild, solid, crunchy flesh. Perfect for early or late summer plantings. It won an All America Selections award in 1949.
Plant every few weeks starting in early spring. Radishes prefer well-drained soil amended with plenty of organic matter. Make a shallow trench about 1/2” deep. Place seed tape in trench, cover with soil, and pack gently. Keep evenly moist during germination and growth stages. Check roots frequently and harvest quickly as soon as they mature (approx. 1” in diameter).
