Description
This heirloom garden favorite has rosy-red roots tipped with white. Round 1″ roots are sweet and crisp, with a touch of peppery flavor. Sparkler is easy to grow and produces quickly, making it a fun garden choice for children.
Plant every few weeks in loose, rich soil starting in early spring or fall and winter in mild climates. Make a shallow trench about 1/2″ deep. Place seed tape in trench and cover firmly with soil. Keep soil evenly moist for best growth. Radishes mature rapidly. Harvest tender roots frequently, as soon as round shoulder begins to break through the soil.
