Pisum, Snow Pea (Bush) Heirloom Value Pack
- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun
Description
The crispy, sweet pods of this Asian cuisine favorite are a staple in stir-fry dishes. Heavy yields of large stringless pods continue throughout the cool season. Delicious raw, steamed, stir-fried or frozen for later use.
Direct sow for best results. Snow peas like cool weather and regular moisture, but do not overwater. Plant in rich, well-drained soil in early spring about a month prior to last frost date, or late summer for fall crops. Will tolerate light frost. Thinning usually not necessary. Harvest while pods are young and tender for best flavor.
