Description
Ohio Spiderwort has masses of beautiful clusters of blue flowers with rose overtones at the ends of the stems from late spring to early summer, which are most effective when planted in groupings. Its grassy leaves remain bluish-green in color with hints of silvery blue throughout the season.
A vigorous clump forming variety that can get up to three feet tall; short lived flowers bloom from terminal clusters in succession; pretty blue to rose blooms emerge over long, grass-like, blue-green foliage; perfect for shaded gardens.
Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade. Produces deep blue flowers over a prolonged period in spring to summer.
