Brassica, Mustard Greens 'Tatsoi' Organic Heirloom
- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun, Part-Sun
Description
A dark green Asian salad green with small, spoon-like leaves and a mildly pungent flavor similar to bok choi or collard greens. Excellent tender greens for stir-frying or salads.
Tatsoi greens prefer rich, fertile soil and plenty of added organic matter. Water regularly and evenly to avoid bitterness. Tatsoi prefers cooler weather but tolerates warm weather. For transplants, start indoors three weeks before the last frost. Continue planting every two weeks until midsummer. Begin harvesting individual leaves after the center rosette has begun to develop.
