Description
This nectar-filled carpet of native wildflowers and flower garden favorites provides the adult Monarch butterfly population with much-needed food. Plant together with milkweed, preferred for egg-laying sites, to support the Monarch’s complete life cycle.
Plant fall to spring in mild climates and early spring in colder areas. Remove weeds and grass from planting area. Loosen soil with rake or shovel. Scatter seeds thinly over area and rake them into top 1/4″ of soil. Keep soil evenly moist until seeds germinate. A light mulch is helpful in dry areas.
Contains: 16.66% Siberian Wallflower, 16.66% Candytuft, 11.11% Dahlia Flowered Zinnia, 11.11% Purple Coneflower, 11.11% Indian Blanket, 11.11% Larkspur Rocket-Imperial Mix, 5.56% Gayfeather. Less than 5% each for a total combined mix of 16.68%: French Sparky Mix Marigold, Sensation Mix Cosmos, Hoary Vervain, Bright Lights Cosmos, Mexican Sunflower, Aster, Butterfly Milkweed.
