Description
Lemon Gem is a “signet” marigold, noted for its compact shape, delicate single flowers, and finely-cut, lemon scented foliage. In full bloom, the foliage virtually disappears under a canopy of yellow. Perfect for garden borders.
Select a location with full sun to part shade. Plant outdoors in spring after last frost date. In mild climates, plant in fall for winter bloom. Keep plants evenly moist until established. Remove faded flowers to encourage more blossoms. Fertilize sparingly.
Tagetes tenuifolia
