Description
This colorful blend of garden lettuces includes equal parts of Black Seeded Simpson, Silvia, Buttercrunch, Lolla Rossa Dark and Red Oakleaf. Harvest young for tender greens.
Lettuce prefers cool weather. Select a location with full sun or partial shade in hot areas. Sow In early spring or fall/winter in mild climates. Keep soil evenly moist for best growth. Thin regularly, lettuce does not like to be crowded. Start cutting small leaves for baby leaf salads in 30 days. This process will thin the later plants for larger semi-heading leaves. Continue harvesting until lettuce bolts.
