Description
Like many South African native plants, gazania is well adapted to hot, dry climates. The brightly colored blossoms in this Sunshine Mix open each day in a stunning array of orange, yellow, pink , and white. Perennial in mild climates. A good choice for xeriscape gardens.
Sow in full sun and well-drained soil in spring after all danger of frost has passed. Start transplants indoors about six weeks before last frost date. Water lightly but consistently until established. Keep faded flowers cut to encourage more blossoms. Gazania can withstand considerable heat and drought once established.
