Description

The standard slicing cucumber, with uniform, dark green, 8-9″ fruits. Mildly sweet and crunchy, Marketmore 76 is a prolific late season variety that produces until fall frost. Resistant to scab, cucumber mosaic virus, downy mildew, and powdery mildew.

Cucumbers grow best when direct sown after last spring frost when soil has warmed to 70°F. Prefers rich soil, but will produce well in almost any garden with full sun. Start transplants indoors five weeks before last frost date. Cucumbers have shallow roots and need consistent watering for best production. Feed monthly with compost or fertilizer.

Cucumis sativus | Irrestible crunch
