Description
This tall, showy annual produces masses of crimson-red flowers with contrasting yellow centers. Its delicate, feathery foliage grows rapidly to produce a striking background plant. Hardy and easy to grow. A good choice for dry areas.
Plant in average soil in a location with full sun to part shade in spring after danger of frost, or in the fall in mild climates. Keep young plants evenly moist and well weeded until established. Tolerates poor soil, heat, and drought. Do not fertilize. Cut flowers regularly to encourage more blossoms.
