Description
Still the best sweet white corn on the market. Tall stalks produce several long ears filled to the top with succulent white kernels. Silver Queen is type SU-normal sugary.
Corn prefers fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture. Sow directly outdoors in full sun after last frost date when soil is completely warm, at least 65°F (18°C). For best pollination and well-filled ears, plant in blocks of at least four rows. Keep young plants well weeded. Harvest when silks tum brown, the tip of the ear is filled out, and kernels spurt milky juice when punctured.
