Zea, Sweet Corn (Early) 'Early Sunglow' Hybrid Value Pack
- Sun Preference
- Full-Sun
Description
An extra-early and reliable producer. Each stalk is about 5′ tall and bears several 6-7″ ears packed with plump yellow kernels. Perfect for areas with short growing seasons and cool springs. Corn type: SU-normal sugary.
Prefers fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture. Sow directly outdoors in full sun after last frost date when soil is completely warm, at least 65°F (18˚C). For best pollination and well-filled ears, plant in blocks of at least four rows. Harvest when silks tum brown, the tip of the ear is filled out, and kernels spurt milky juice when punctured.
