Cacti can be relatively easy to grow. These plants are well-adapted to the dry conditions found in one's home. These plants can live a long time with the right care. Most cacti benefit most from at least 4 hours of bright sun.

Details
During the growing season (spring and summer) water plant to have just a bit of moisture in the soil, but not soaked. Well draining soil will reduce overwatering. During winter months when there is no growth, let soil dry out before watering.
Soil should be well drained and sandy. Use cacti based fertilizer during the growing season when watering. Repot every few years to refresh the soil, expanding the pot size minimally when needed.
