Description
This hardy California native wildflower produces masses of deep blue, cup-shaped flowers with bright white stamens. Heart-shaped leaves are covered with soft white hairs. Very easy to grow in well-drained soil.
Sow in full sun and well-drained, average soil in very early spring, as soon as soil can be worked. Sow in late fall in warm climates. Start transplants indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date. Will reseed freely and can grow in sandy, desert-like soil.
