Felknor Ventures has created Topsy Turvy, a system for growing a tomatoe or pepper plant even on a small porch. The plants grow from the top down in special containers that hang from the ceiling. The tomatoes and peppers grow luxuriantly, they take up less space and they create no inconvenience for those who cultivate them.
Watering from above eliminates bothersome bending over, and the special container prevents dirtying the porch with earth; in addition, the position of the plant keeps insects and fungus far from the little garden and therefore far from the kitchen as well.
