Although each season has a look and feel all its own, the holiday season at Gertens takes on a special meaning. As one of the largest growers of Poinsettias in the Twin Cities, Gertens offers a wide range of colors and styles, from the traditional red, white, and pink of natural poinsettias, to our wide variety of painted colors.

In addition to the traditional look of Poinsettias, we also offer Mumsettias (a lovely combination of Mum and Poinsettia plants) and Cyclamen- both in a variety of colors.

Holiday Fundraiser offerings

• Gerten grown Poinsettias are available in many natural colors, grown in 6.5” and 8.5” pots.
• Painted Poinsettias: our natural poinsettia air brush painted with various colors for a whole new look.
• Mumsettia: a beautiful single Poinsettia, surrounded by white Mums. In a 10” pot. (Not available before 12/3)
• Cyclamen: available in a 6.5” pot. Blooming beauty that lasts into spring.
• New Signature Item! 12” Combo Basket: A wicker basket with a handle, filled with beautiful seasonal blooming plants.

How to participate

• You must have a Fundraiser Account with Gertens. Call 651.239.1321 to get started.
• Notify Gertens of intent to participate by scheduling your delivery/pick up date. Call promptly as our calendar fills quickly. Please notify us of your participation by October 13.

2008 Dates to remember

• October 13: Notification of participation.
• October 27: Final order should be submitted.
• November 24 – December 23: Delivery/pick up dates.
