To meet the financial challenges facing todays schools, groups and other organizations, Gertens is proud to offer a healthy alternative to traditional fundraising through a wide variety of plant programs. Not only are these programs healthy, they promote bettering our environment through gardening, increasing awareness of horticulture, and perhaps most importantly, community support for local schools, groups and organizations.

There is a plant sale for each season, as well as the sale of our Plant Card (good for plant material at our Inver Grove Heights locations), which is available year-round.

How does it work?

1. Click on the link for each program to view specific information.
2. Contact our fundraising office to set a delivery/will-call date and time.
3. Based on our offerings, your organization shoud decide what they would like to sell and set sale prices.
   • You will find that our pricing is very competitive to ensure maximum profitability for your fundraising efforts. Based on your target market, we suggest that you increase your pricing anywhere from 50-100%
   • It is highly recommended that you keep our selections simple and limited. This will eliminate unnecessary hassles and confusion.
4. Create an order form to use when taking orders or you can use a form that we have created. (links located at the bottom of each program page)
5. Collect pre-orders from your customers for the plant material that you are offering, including Plant Cards.
6. Finally, gather and organize all orders and submit your final order to our fundarising staff on the form provided.
7. When your delivery/will-call date arrives, Gertens will provide you with the best quality plant material and service available.
