Prairie Fire Dogwood
Prairie Fire Dogwood
Cornus alba ‘Aurea’
Very showy in the sun, this dogwood sparkles with its golden foliage. More chartreuse in the shade, the Prairie Fire Dogwood is as adaptable as it is hardy. With the traditional red stems in the winter, this 6’ x 6’ shrub is a standout in my yard any time of the year. I like to pair this dogwood with the darker greens & finer textures of evergreens and the burgundy red of the Melting Fire Coral Bell.
