2010 Annual Education & Spring Buying Fair

Keep your schedule open for Tuesday, March 9th, 2010! Gertens will be having our Annual Education & Spring Buying Fair at the Veterans Memorial Community Center, 8055 Barbara Avenue in Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077.

2010 has the potential to be a great year, and Gertens would like to help you and your business get off to a great start.

Education

Gertens offers education classes and chooses speakers that keep you and your company on the leading edge of the industry and up to date on current issues. Our featured keynote speaker for 2010 is, Sam Richter, an internationally known speaker. Sam is a dynamic speaker that understands and uses the technology available to improve and enhance businesses. He has worked with start-up companies and well-known brands. All vendors and attendees will be able to attend and listen to Sam's informational talk.

Other speakers include Patrick McGuiness from Zlimen & McGuiness, PLLC, who will speak on a mock labor audit focusing on wage and overtime violations; Dr. Ron Smith representing North Dakota State University, will educate on bidding and estimating negotiated contracts and highlight common pitfalls; a representative from Techni-Seal will be on hand to explain their new product as well as look at solutions to application and use problems.

Buying Fair

The buying fair offers you a look at the products we sell. To best assist you, Gertens will have representatives from the suppliers, as well as products displayed for you to take a look at. As a benefit for early ordering, there will be discounted prices, see the handouts for specific details.

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door, owners of the companies get in free and if you register three paid participants-you get the fourth free!

Gertens will also be offering an Anchor Seminar on Monday, March 8th, 2010 from 10am-1pm at Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights. It will be a hands on building and training session for the newly released Artisana freestanding wall collection. Please RSVP to Gertens by March 1st, 2010, this seminar is FREE! Lunch will be provided.
